Forestry chains are high-strength chains which are specifically made for logging and are available in an array of sizes and styles. These chains are clearly visible in forest settings, due to their unique colours (signal colours red and blue). The chains and their accessories are labelled according to their quality grade and their unique wear resistance properties (special coating) ensure a long service life and, thus, cost-effective investment . Forestr y chains are available in both qualit y grade 8 (painted red) and 10 (painted blue) and are made using square chains. Thus, they are known for their good traction particularly on wet or frozen wood. I CHAINS ALWAYS IN ACTION! FORESTRY CHAINS by Choker chains are attached to the hauling rope using a choker hook or a rope slider. Our standard choker chain is made using a sling hook on one side and a push- through pin on the other side of the chain (see ill. below) .
