General 4 The clamps are designed to be used in standard atmos- pheric environments and at temperatures between -40°C and + 100°C. 4 Never overload a clamp and make sure to stop the loads jerking or hitting one another. 4 Always make use of the entire gripping depth of the clamp and never lift more than one plate at a time. Unless the clamp has been designed to lift more than one clamp. 4 Always keep a safe distance when lifting and lowering loads. 4 Prevent persons from walking or standingunder the load. Safety inspection 4 All inspections and repair work must be recorded in the in- spection scheme. 4 This not only applies to in-house inspections, but alsoinspections carried out by a recognised Ter- rier supplier. 4 When the product is handed over to be inspected or ser- viced, it must always be accom- panied by the service book. Terrier Lifting Clamps guarantee their end-users 5 years warranty for lifting clamps. This guarantee only applies to the original end-user of the lifting clamp, provided the lifting device has been inspected, tested and maintained according to the instructions of the manufac- turer and vendor throughout the warranty period. The warranty period amounts to 5 years from date of purchase. The warranty is subject to these terms and conditions. Please remember that all welding on the clamp is explicitly prohibited, as it can affect the rigidity and durability of the clamp.
